The allegation of using Pakistani territory in US drone strikes in Afghanistan is alarming and regrettable, Pakistan

Pakistan says it is deeply concerned by allegations by Afghanistan's Acting Defense Minister of using Pakistan's airspace for US drone operations and that such statements are against diplomatic etiquette.

On Sunday, Afghanistan's Defense Minister Maulvi Muhammad Yaqub Mujahid has alleged that according to his information, US drones are entering Afghanistan through Pakistan and Pakistan's airspace is being used for such attacks.

Responding to the allegation in a statement on Sunday night, the Foreign Office spokesperson said that in the absence of any evidence, which was also acknowledged by the Afghan minister, such speculative accusations are highly regrettable.

The spokesperson also said that Pakistan believes in the territorial integrity and sovereignty of all states and condemns all forms of terrorism.
