We Muslims, especially Pakistanis, make most of our decisions with our brains and not with our hearts.
An example of this is our political situation. In this era of social media, we know the contradiction between the words and actions of almost all political parties.
But in spite of this, the party towards which our ideological or heart inclination is, even seven bloods are forgiven and the right action of the opposite party is also worthy of decapitation if it is not in accordance with our ideals.
Such are our religious affairs.
Muslim jurisprudence is divided into Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, Hanbali, Ahl-e-Hadith and Jafariya jurisprudence and there are also divisions in many sects.
But because they follow one or the other Imam in spite of differences of opinion in some jurisprudence.
Followers or scholars of every jurisprudence have concrete references of books of hadiths for the right of their words.
But because these books were hadiths according to the criteria set by the scholars and elders of the time and then according to them, the scholars of each sect explained different jurisprudential issues...
The people who were present at that time followed what they thought was best, and it became the basis of the Hujjat and different sects for those who came later.
The best thing about it was that none of the imams excluded the followers of other imams from the religion. But today, despite the passage of so much time, we are excluding each other from the religion based on what we have heard.
The time that we should have given for the betterment and welfare of the Muslim Ummah, we are wasting in doubting each other's faith.
We people don't understand that unless we get out of this pointless debate we can never progress........
This truth was first understood by our scholars.. During the Musharraf era, the Muttahida Majlis Aam was formed... which included the scholars of all schools of thought...
The scholars who were suspicious of the faith of those praying under the guidance of scholars of other sects and suggested renewal of faith... their pictures praying under each other's guidance were published exclusively in newspapers..... .....
And all these religious parties took worldly and religious benefits according to that time... while none of us had the opportunity. That we should ask those people sitting on the Prophet's pulpit that what was forbidden for us became lawful for you.
Now is the time for us to wake up... to understand that communalism is only for keeping the house of these so-called scholars...
The time we are giving to prove each other's religion wrong is the time we should use for our own betterment..and play our role for the betterment of this world.....
Otherwise, we will have that condition. Which happened at the time of Halaku Khan's attack on Baghdad.. When Halaku attacked Baghdad, scholars were debating how many angels could pass through the eye of a needle at a time...
Or instead of preparing for war, they were having useless debates while the situation required them to prepare people for Jihad and as a result, the dead destroyed Baghdad.
